Have you ever wanted to write something? Do you have a story inside of you just bursting, wanting to get out? Or maybe you’re just wanting to write down your family’s stories.
Sign up for Camp NaNoWriMo. I’ve been participating since 2013. And I’ve written 35,960 words. That’s just during the April and July camps. That doesn’t count National Novel Writing Month in November.
Camp is pretty fun. You can write whatever you want. You can pick your goal. In November, everybody’s shooting for 50,000 words. But in April and July, if you want to write 15,000 words, that’s cool.
Plus, there are cabins. But since it’s virtual camp, they’re virtual cabins. So you don’t have to actually see anyone in person or share an actual cabin with a bunch of strangers. Perfect for introverts. You can chat if you like. If you get the right mix of people, the one that you fit with, it can be a super supportive place.
Give it a shot. I dare ya.
